The dazzling shine of the most passionate stone in the world rarely attracts the attention of watchmakers. Deciding to correct this annoying misunderstanding, we have collected some unforgettable models with rubies in one fiery red material.
A rare example of a women jewelry watch with outstanding mechanics. The case, bezel, crown and even bridges of the tourbillon made of white gold are decorated with 283 diamonds with a total weight of 5.8 carats, 35 baguette-cut rubies with a weight of 8.2 carats. Yet the main highlight of the product is its dial. Masters combined the technique of cloisonné enamel with the aesthetics of pointillism, directly inheriting the tradition of French postimpressionists of the late nineteenth century.
Graff Classic Butterfly Ruby
The central design element of this model are 30 oval rubies, made in the form of butterflies around an entirely diamond-paved dial. Case, bezel and buckle are made of white gold and generously encrusted with gems. A quartz movement is responsible for the accuracy of two
blued-steel hands. A red crocodile leather strap complements the image.
Ulysse Nardin Royal Ruby Tourbillon
Sapphire glass bridges visually divide an openworked dial into two equal halves. It is as if they paint the main wheel mechanism in a pink color, allowing only the tourbillon to appear before us in its true form. Platinum case, bezel and crown are set with 13 rubies and 140 diamonds with a total weight of 3.27 carats and they blend harmoniously with the white alligator leather strap. The series is limited to 99 copies.
