The official's timekeeper

24.08.2017
It is considered, that the choice of a watch can tell a lot about the character and habits of its owner. We decided to test this hypothesis via a series of articles dedicated to the favorite models of the heads of state. Continued in the next issue.

Any person interested in the art of watchmaking notices unwillingly, what is put on the wrists of the others. Of course, this rule applies to any public person, especially if it is customary to consider his or her opinion. Moreover, whose word is a force, but the word of the head of state?
Is a president or a king an avid collector? What watch categories he prefers? Can a chronograph, a diver or a dress model with an enamel dial indirectly indicate the manner of their owners to do business? Let modern politology manage to take into account much more abstract things, such arguments are still meaningless. More interesting to look at this issue on the other hand, indeed a politician who has chosen the product becomes a sort of freelance ambassador for the brands– as athletes and movie stars, high-ranking offi cials have already a formed base of fans and haters.
