The development of the project took nearly 5 years, the production of 578 parts took 15 weeks, finishing took another 10 weeks, and finally, the assembly took 5 weeks. However, the extravagant appearance of the skeletonized dial and of the hand-carved from a single piece of white gold hour indexes can be compared only with the complexity of the mechanism equipped with functions of a perpetual calendar, a minute repeater and a flying tourbillon.

One of Richard Mille’s favorite models. Enclosed in a titanium case, the mechanism with manual winding is equipped with a variable inertia balance and the mainplate, made of carbon. Two drums provide the product with a power reserve of 10 days, and a special display in the manner of a car gear unit will point the owner what position the crown is in. A tourbillon located near the mark of ‘6 o'clock’ and a high-tech chain that required more than 500 manufacturing operations complete the picture.
