An innovation in Haute Horlogerie drawing – Bovet featured a butterfly on the dial of its new watch

Fantasy paintings adorning watches by the Swiss manufacturer Bovet fascinate each time. In honor of the 195th anniversary of the Bovet house, the artisans presented to the world "Château de Môtiers 40 "Papillon" - a device inspired by nature itself, capturing the beauty of the most charming and ephemeral creation of nature – a butterfly on the dial of the women's accessory.

Pascal Raffy, the House of Bovet owner, opens a completely new dimension for a decorative art. In this truly unique creature, one traces the synthesis of century-old developments and innovation approach – while creating an amazing pattern on the pearl surface they used the latest technology of miniature coating of luminescent material layers. Thus, the work depicted by an artisan, becomes visible both day and night – as if the artist created two paintings
simultaneously in order to achieve equal picture detalization when lit at different times of the day. A red gold case, inlaid with diamonds harmonically completes the color of the accessory in combination with an alligator leather strap available in blue and green colors.
