A winning streak

Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2018 – the most prestigious award in high-end watches – has 5 Bvlgari pieces in its shortlist. This outstanding achievement, however, doesn’t keep the brand from producing some stunning novelties the same year. Last week another 5 novelties were presented in Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai. Among them were the amazingly complex Octo Grande Sonnerie Perpetual Calendar featuring a tourbillon, a perpetual calendar, Grande and Petite sonnerie, and a Moon phase as well as ladies’ Divas' Dream Roman Nights with quite unusual time indication via two rotating discs on the starry-night-dial. Meanwhile, Bvlgari heritage exhibition in Moscow Kremlin Museums goes on with a stunning collection of five hundred high-jewelry pieces produced during a century-long period. And after seeing Anita Ekberg’ sapphires and Gina Lollobrigida’s emeralds in person, one can to see some classical Italian movies featuring this masterpieces in GUM department store. The La Festa di Cinema will last till October 17, and has Federico Fellini’ Dolce Vita and Roma, Luchino Visconti’s Conversation Piece and Paolo Sorrentino’s Great Beauty in its schedule.
