Roman brand starts the show with a bang, bringing the world thinnest chronograph and introducing a whole new ladies’ collection. The latter is destined to get some additional wows for being the same time quintessentially Bvlgari, yet having a personality of its own.
You don’t often see CEOs swingings their wrists in the air. Well, that day Jean-Christophe Babin's agitation was quite understandable: his wrist featured the thinnest chronograph on the market – the super high-tech Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic. Its in-house BVL 318 automatic movement with GMT, chronograph and 55 hours of power reserve is only 3.3 mm thick. The 42-mm titanium case is 6.9 mm thick and has a transparent case back with some real mechanical ballet for the owners to see. The watch comes on titanium bracelet.
The new Serpenti Seduttori line feels so Bvlgari like it was there forever. It can be roughly described as a perfect mix of Serpenti and Lvcea, and is cased only in gold of different colors. The 33-mm watch has a very distinguished looks, playing with a snake’s head shape, yet thanks to the bracelet stays more grounded next to most Serpentis. And of course there are various diamond versions. By the way, we’ve got a chance to see how brands ambassadors Olivia Wilde and Shu Qi rocked them at Baselworld. And it surely was a welcome Hollywood touch!
