Designed by Centro Stile Ferrari lead by Flavio Manzoni himself, the watch has a handful of trademark super car features as well as a healthy attitude of statement piece. Oh, and there’s a prancing horse at 12 o’clock.
Presented in a separate pavilion and surrounded by several actual Ferraris, the Hublot Classic Fusion Ferrari GT seems to stand the expectations. And the expectations are enormous. 2019 is a 90-year anniversary for the Italian car maker, and the watch is making the most out of Hublot-Ferrari partnership.
Designed by Flavio Manzoni’s team this self-winding flyback chronograph with a column wheel features a 45-mm case water resistant up to 100 m, a transparent dial made of a sapphire crystal with the red thread around the outer ring, a red chrono pusher and a red central chrono hand. Just in case someone wouldn’t think there’s enough Ferrari spirit inside, the guys at Maranello have added a prancing horse at 12 o’clock. With a neat 72-hour power reserve and the rubber straps covered with Schedoni leather, like the seats of Ferrari race cars, there’s really a lot to like here. The watch comes in three versions: Titanium (CHF 20.900), King Gold (CHF 36.900) and 3D Carbon (CHF 25.900).
