Happy Sport, one of the core Chopard collections celebrates a quarter-century anniversary.
Being the close relative to the already proven Happy Diamonds concept, the idea was based on adding moving gemstones to a steel watch on a bracelet. And the brand managed to hit two targets at once: responding to the spirit of the era in suggesting customers to use diamonds in more everyday, casual looks, and seriously straightening its position in rather competitive segment of luxury sports watches. 
For 25 years, hundreds of versions with different geometry, stones, or special-themed figures floating the dial back and forth. Vivid colors or strict elegance, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, partial or full setting, exquisite works of Métiers d’Art department – it’s nearly impossible not to find something that rings the bell for you here.
The latest news came with the premier of 2018-version featuring mother of pearl dials, matching crocodile straps, and an in-house automatic caliber 09.01C designed specifically for 30-mm ladies’ pieces in mind. The only thing that hasn't changed a bit after this 25 years are four Roman numerals, still acting as a visual accent. Well, kind of. Strictly speaking, the numerals have gained some third dimension now.
