The new addition to the Diver collection is military inspired and meant to age beautifully.
The 42 mm case and bezel are made of bronze, reminding of antique deep-sea helmets and some naval construction details. The specific alloy used for this new timepiece is in the satin-polished alloy CuSn8 – 92% copper and 8% tin. As you surely know, the bronze forms a patina over time and provides its wearer with beautiful tones of reddish brown or greyish green, giving it a robust and distinctive touch, and making every piece of this 999 limited edition unique. The monochromatic khaki dial goes quite nice with the unidirectional rotating solid bronze bezel with anodised aluminium insert featuring 60-minute scale. The circular date window of a matching colour is located between 4 and 5 o'clock.
The hands and the gold-plated appliqué indices are covered with Superluminova for the perfect readability in the dark or under the water. The caseback bears the engraving of a 1940s diver’s helmet as a nod to the origins of underwater adventures. The olive leather strap confirms the watch’s genuine vintage spirit but can be replaced with a rubber strap to be used while diving. Needless to say, the water-resistance here is professional 300 meters. The watch is powered by the automatic mechanical movement with a 38-hours power reserve.
