The brand known for its unique watchmaking approach goes seriously green this year.
Bovet Amadéo Fleurier 43 Monsieur Bovet
While green dials aren’t exactly a new thing, in resent years Bovet seemed to approach this color only occasionally. Well, now they are clearly catching up with not one but two very attractive pieces – Miss Audrey for the ladies and Monsieur Bovet for the gents, both from the Amadéo Fleurier collection. The trademark white or red gold Amadéo convertible case of the Monsieur Bovet measures 43 mm. The entirely green dial on one side is adorned with the guilloché motif in a form of a lotus flower with twelve petals symbolizing hours. The inlayed Arabic numerals, two central serpentine hands and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock are also made of gold.

On the reverse side Monsieur Bovet displays the off-centered hours and minutes on a similar decorated sub-dial leaving the rest of the real estate for admiring the in-house hand-wound movement with an impressive seven days of power reserve from a single barrel. The coaxial seconds are indicated at 6 o’clock by a triple hand and the power reserve indicator rests at 9. As any Amadéo Fleurier, the piece can be worn as a wristwatch, an open face pocket watch or a table clock. It is complemented by a matching green alligator strap and a chain of rhodium-plated silver. The price for the Monsieur Bovet is CHF 53,000 in white gold and CHF 50,000 in red gold.
Bovet Amadéo Fleurier 36 Miss Audrey
The emerald green guilloché dial of the new Miss Audrey brings this kind of treatment to the ladies as well. The self-winding caliber 11BA15 with a 42-hour power reserve is also housed in the Amadéo convertible case, crafted in steel and measuring 36 mm in diameter. The bezel and the trademark bow are set with 103 round-cut diamonds. Another four precious stones act as hour-markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, with the date aperture also sitting at 6. To match the dial in perfect harmony, Pascal Raffy, Bovet 1822's owner, has designed an original jade bead necklace that can transform the piece into a fancy pendant. On a wrist the watch is fixed by the green alligator leather or a satin strap. The price for Miss Audrey is CHF 20,500.
