An exquisite two-eye chronograph celebrating the art of British high-end car making by the long-time Swiss partner.
The Swiss watchmaker and the British automobile manufacturer enjoy the partnership since the early 00’s, when the luxury car company chose Breitling to design their onboard clocks. So releasing the piece celebrating the 100 year-anniversary of Bentley was a natural move. With a 42-mm case, a brown elm burl dial, two black sub-dials – a chronograph minute counter at 3, small-second at 9, – and a date window at 6, it literary radiates calm luxury in both steel and pink gold versions. The dial also features a white tachymeter scale on a black inner bezel. As you’d guess, there’s quite a few Bentley logos present on various parts of the watch exterior. In addition the brown leather strap on both versions (the steel one is also available on a bracelet) whose pattern and stitching were inspired by the Bentley seats.
The watch is powered by the caliber B01 – an in-house automatic movement with a column-wheel and vertical clutch chronograph. It has a 70-hour power reserve, an official COSC chronometer certification, and is quite stunning in action when looking through the caseback window. Speaking of the caseback, there’s also some engraving worth mentioning: ‘ONE OF 200’ – on the red gold version, and ‘ONE OF 1000’ – on the steel one, which obviously stands for the total numbers of both Breitling Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Editions.
