The trio of steel ladies’ chronographs in pastel colours launched by the Swiss manufacture.
How to make a traditional three-eye chronograph in a steel 40 mm case look feminine? Well, you can always start with the mother-of-pearl and some diamonds. The pink, pale blue, or snow-white dials combined with matching alligator leather straps seem to add to the overall effect. An extra feminine touch is added by sparkling diamonds, with 56 stunning stones set in the impressive bezel. 8 diamond indices adorning the dial are supported by the luminous markings. The tips of the curvy, skeletonized hour and minute hands as well as the long central stop-second hand are inset with Super-LumiNova.
However, the glamorous exterior isn’t the only selling point here. The Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ChronoDate is driven by a nicely finished CFB 1956 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Aside from the three central hands it features the small seconds at 3 o’clock, the 30-minute counter and the 12-hour chrono counters at 9 and 6, as well as the easily readable big date display surrounded by a finely rounded frame below the 12 o’clock position. The sapphire crystal in the screw-down case back displays all the stunning details of the movement. The white dial version is also available on a steel bracelet, and as a special highlight, each piece is supplied with a second calfskin strap.
