Everyday ladies’ classics with an emphasis on a slightly unconventional geometry.
We all know and love the Happy Sport collection, after all, it’s one of the most popular Chopard’s offerings for a reason. This time, however, we’re looking at Happy Sport Oval line, featuring almost the same trademark aesthetics with one major twist – the case geometry. Available in steel, rose gold, or two-tone versions measuring 31,3 х 29 mm in diameter and 10,77 mm in thickness, the watch takes a subtle step away from the usual circle. And paired by the four-row bracelet with distinctive rounded links – exactly the same as in the very first Happy Sport piece dating back to 1993 – it looks really lovely.
The silvery dial shines with central hands, inlayed Roman numerals, and of course, seven floating diamonds following every slightest movement of your wrist. The bezel – be it steel or gold – can act as an evenly polished surface or can be fully set with diamonds. Nicely finished automatic in-house caliber 01-09-C provides 42 hours of power reserve and is visible from the transparent caseback. Despite the sporty looks, this elegant everyday watch is not very water-friendly, and is certified only for 3 ATM. Try diving in something else.
