The vintage-inspired watches seemed to become quite a serious trend for the last several years, and while the majority of Swiss brands have already tested these waters, for some it turned to be more successful. Longines was definitely among the winners here with such highlights of the Heritage collection as Legend Diver, Avigation Bigeye of Heritage 1945. And the new Heritage Classic following the Longines designs 1930s certainly stands to its name. A silvered opaline dial with the fine blued steel hands and super clean indications, small seconds sector at 6, and a nice steel case of a moderate 38.5 mm diameter: the vintage-lovers should be pleased.

The Longines Heritage Classic is driven by a self-winding calibre L893.5, featuring a silicon balance spring and a rather decent 64-hour power reserve. It comes on either a blue or semi-matte black leather strap with the additional denim-effect NATO strap of an anthracite or blue colour.
The original Longines piece from 1934 that served as an inspiration
