A couple of green-themed stainless steel diver watches coming in two sizes and in two bracelet options.
The green seems to enter the Longines HydroConquest palette with a double effort. Besides the regular pieces available in 41-mm or 43-mm steel cases and featuring a khaki dial, the Swiss brand also introduces a special Longines HydroConquest Boutique Edition, again in 41-mm or 43-mm steel cases, with the vertically brushed light-green dials. Regardless of the size, both versions are complemented by the green ceramic unidirectional bezels, and if all this wasn’t enough, you can also choose a rubber strap – a green one of course – or a steel bracelet. Both are easily interchangeable without any complex tools. The dial layout is pretty clean and traditional with the inlayed hour markers and numerals covered with tons of white lume, as well as a white date window at 3 o’clock.
Both novelties are time-only watches with three central hands, a date, and a 64-hour power reserve. However the automatic movements beating inside – at a not so often seen 3,5 Hz frequency, might we add – are a bit different. HydroConquest Boutique Edition’s regulating organ is fitted with a silicon balance spring, while the regular HydroConquest went for the traditional metal one. Thanks to the screw-down caseback and crown, as well as a 300-meter water resistance rating, the Longines HydroConquest and the Longines HydroConquest Boutique Edition are fully dive ready.
