The line of single-hand watches welcomes a special anti-clockwiseversion.
MeisterSinger Circularis Reverse
Presented during the recent Dubai Watch Week, the new Circularis Reverse by MeisterSinger is exclusively designed for the Arabic-speaking world. Since the Arabic script is written from right to left, the anti-clockwise direction of the single hand seems more convenient. The geometry of the dial though, hardly differs from the standard Circularis version, using double-digit hour numerals for a balanced appearance. The stainless steel 43 mm case goes nicely with the sunburst steel blue dial and gold plated numerals written in reverse, as well as the white minute scale, one big pointy hand and a date at 6 o’clock.
A slightly redesigned movement switches the central hand's and date's directions
The basis of the Circularis Reverse is still the automatic version of MeisterSinger’s movement MSA01, but with a twist. It took eleven new components to reverse the hand, and the result is a thoroughly redesigned movement in which the date also switches the other way around. The Circularis’ five-day power reserve is stored in its twin mainspring barrels. The watch has a sapphire crystal back and is water-resistant up to 5 bar. The strap is made of rough, dark brown ‘saddle leather’, and an additional cordovan strap is included. The Circularis Reverse is exclusively built for MeisterSinger’s partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in a limited edition of 25 pieces, so you’d better hurry.
