An elegant dressy three-hander pairing yellow gold with lots of green.
What can emphasize the classy dress watch attitude more than yellow gold? And while in recent years this material was often left slightly behind its pink counterpart, it’s still very powerful when paired with right colors. And this kind of green is surely one of them. Like all other watches in the Montblanc Heritage Automatic collection, the dial of the new Ref. 126464 features a combination of textures. The inner part has a polished dark-green surface, while the outer part is grained and feels slightly brighter. The layout is classic and flawless: the gold inlayed numerals and hour markers, no date, very few text, – even the purists won’t be disappointed. There’s a tiny twist in a form of red accents, marking each 15-minute interval on a white outer ring scale, but it's also very subtle.
The Montblanc Heritage Automatic Ref. 126464 comes in a 40 mm yellow gold case, housing the MB 24.27 automatic caliber. The latter drives the central dauphine hands with some gentle touch of lume and has 42 hours of power reserve. The piece has a basic 5-bar water resistance and is complemented by a matching green alligator strap produced in Italy.
