A unique piece by two independent watch brands created in support of the biennial charity auction.
Ever wondered what happens if the DNA of the two most futuristic and space-themed brands collide? Well, De Bethune x Urwerk Moon Satellite pretty much gives you the answer. A 43 mm case of the Moon Satellite fuses the design and function genetics of De Bethune with its floating lugs and the mirror polished titanium. The time-telling though is typical Urwerk: satellite hour discs spin across the dial, thus also acting as a minute indication. The De Bethune x Urwerk Moon Satellite comes complemented by a black alligator leather strap.
Under the hood and curved sapphire crystal beats the one-off manually-wound caliber developed specially for Only Watch auction. With the crown at 12 o'clock, a spherical moon phase at 6, and twin barrels sitting on top of the trademark triangular bridge you can clearly see the De Bethune’s work here. The credit for the module obviously goes to Urwerk. The De Bethune x Urwerk Moon Satellite has an estimate price of CHF 120,000-150,000. The auction in support of the fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy will take place on 9th of November in Geneva.
