The boutique brand will make its debut at the 8th edition of Only Watch auction by donating a special black Damascus steel version of the Track1 chronograph.
Singer Track1 Only Watch Edition
The Auction is organized by Christie’s and scheduled to take place in Geneva on November 9th, 2019. Only Watch is a charity raising money into research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The uniqueness of this particular Track1 obviously lies in its 43-mm Black PVD Damascus Steel case is a result of forging together two different kinds of steel layered and folded multiple times. The finishing combines deep-etched surfaces with lightly etched ones and high-gloss polished chamfers, revealing the Damascus steel pattern in different ways. Overall it looks and fells very sporty, and even has quite decent water resistance of 10 ATM.
The automatic AgenGraphe 6361 caliber developed by Agenhor
The automatic column wheel chronograph movement inside is none other than the praised AgenGraphe 6361 – developed by Agenhor. Remember last year’s Chronograph category winner at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève? The orange chrono hands are spinning right in the centre of the dial, while the regular time indication is executed via two ceramic disks rotating at the outer ring. To read this playful time-telling concept you have to use the red pointer at 6 o’clock. Start & stop push-button sits at 2 o’clock, while the reset push-button is at 10 o’clock. To offer a complete experience, Singer Reimagined is offering to the winning bidder the opportunity to visit Agenhor manufacture in Geneva and as well as the L.A based Singer Reimagined workshop.
That's how the Damascus steel of the Singer Track1 Only Watch Edition was born
