Being the official timekeeper of the Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz, the brand launches a nice two-eye no-date chrono, coming in two versions: 18 k red gold and stainless steel.
As this year’s official timekeeper of the renowned motorcycling and surfing festival Wheels and Waves, Breitling had a perfect opportunity to present a new sporty piece. And this guy appeared to be a two-eye no-date chrono Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Wheels and Waves Limited Edition. Coming in 42 mm steel or red gold cases, it features an anthracite dial with golden hour markers, a white inner bezel with a red tachymeter scale, and an unusual red center-seconds scale, crossing both sub-dials. The piece is water resistant up to 100 meters.
Beating inside is the flagship automatic in-house column-wheel / vertical clutch B01 chronograph movement. It offers a power reserve of about 70 hours, as well as a COSC-certified chronometer precision, and is visible through a transparent caseback. The red gold version is engraved with a ‘ONE OF 100’ inscription, while the steel model is engraved with ‘ONE OF 500’. Both versions are presented on a brown nubuck leather strap.
