Two limited editions of a versatile and elegant chronograph, one a bit dressier, the other – a bit sportier.
For the exterior alone, both versions of Chopard L.U.C Chrono One Flyback seem to work as nice everyday watches. Ref. 168596-3002 with its 42 mm Titalyt (hypoallergenic titanium ally) 42 mm case and a khaki green varnished dial may seem a kind of military-inspired, while the ref. 168596-3001 with its steel 42 mm case and a slate grey dial is definitely more suit-friendly. Anyway, both feature dauphine hour and minute hands, applied hour-markers, and a fine vertical satin-brushed motif. Function-wise we’ve got two chrono counters, small seconds at 6 o’clock, and a date window at 4.30.
Both watches are powered by a self-winding L.U.C 03.03-L calibre with a 60-hour power reserve and a flyback chronograph function, allowing the user to instantly reset the second hand to zero and start a new measurement with a single press of a pusher. It also features a hacking-second function for precise time setting. The movement is a COSC certified chronometer and is highly visible through the sapphire caseback thanks to its golden openworked rotor. Chopard L.U.C Chrono One Flyback ref. 168596-3002 comes on a brown calfskin leather strap and is limited to 100 pieces. Ref. 168596-3001 comes on a slate grey alligator leather strap and is limited to 250 pieces.
