A stunning limited edition in blue with the off-centered small seconds and the crown.
The dial with blue-grey galvanic treatment and facetted hour-markers is obviously the king here. It has a striking visual effect: instead of the center, the circular satin-brushed pattern radiates right from the small seconds at 7 o’clock. The crown has slightly migrated down and sits at 4 o’clock. The only thing refusing to move is a date window in a matching colour, traditionally located at 3. The words ‘Qualité Fleurier’ appearing beneath the name, mean the watch is certified by Fleurier Quality Foundation. And as any Chopard L.U.C timepiece, the chronometric precision of XPS Twist QF was tested by COSC.
Through the exhibition caseback one can see the in-house caliber 96.26-L, offset by 30 degrees against most of its counterparts. It features two stacked barrels based on Chopard’s patented Twin structure, a 65-hour power reserve, and an engraved gold micro-rotor of the high inertia. The watch comes in an elegant thin case in ethically certified white gold measuring 40 mm. It’s complimented by a hand-sewn matt blue-grey alligator leather strap with cognac-coloured linings. The production of Chopard L.U.C XPS Twist QF is limited to 250 pieces.
