Piaget beats the record of the world's thinnest hand-wound watch. The thickness of the Ultimate Concept in the case is only 2 mm, and it took the brand about four years to develop this mechanism. Piaget completely revised the development approach, for this, two levels were created (dial with hands and mechanical components, and glass with bezel). To make the case even more thin and convenient, a cobalt-based alloy was used. Five patent applications were filed for this model, but for now, Piaget is not planning to launch it on sale.
